Stillman Bank Announces Promotions

Thomas R. Hughes, President & CEO of Stillman BancCorp N.A., along with the Board of Directors have moved to promote the following bank employees:

J. Joseph McCoy, Vice President and Senior Trust Officer

Joe joined Stillman Bank as a Trust Officer in March 2020. He was previously an attorney in Rockford for over 12 years specializing in trusts and estates and was recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in Illinois from 2015 to 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Law degree from the University of Miami. In his new role, he will be responsible for the oversight and direction of the bank’s Trust Department.

 

 

 

Benjamin D. Miller, Vice President and Senior Operations Officer

Ben has been with Stillman Bank for over 16 years. He earned his Associates Degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute and also holds CBSM, CBSTP, and CBEH certifications. Since joining the bank in 2008, Ben has served as IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, IT Officer, and Vice President. In his new role, Ben will be responsible for the oversight and direction of bank operations.

 

 

 

 

Nathan D. Gutierrez, Systems Administrator

Nate joined the bank in April 2022 as IT Assistant. He graduated from Rasmussen University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management. He also holds a CompTIA Network + CE certification and CBSM certification. In his new role, Nate will lead the day-to-day responsibilities of the IT department.
