Stillman Bank’s Christmas Food Drive a Huge Success

In the spirit of giving back this holiday season, we held a food drive to benefit area families this Christmas. Nearly 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items were collected during the two-and-a-half-week event. Now in its fifteenth year, our annual food drive has collected over 15,000 pounds of food since its inception in 2008.

The Christmas Food Drive kicked off at all Stillman Bank locations on Friday, November 29 and continued through Wednesday, December 18. Donations will be made just in time for Christmas to several area food pantries.

• Old Stone Church Food Pantry in Rockton
• Rochelle Christian Food Pantry in Rochelle
• Rock River Valley Pantry in Rockford

In addition to our annual Christmas Food Drive, we also recently hosted an employee “Casual Day for Local Food Pantries” fundraiser! All Stillman Bank employees were encouraged to make a monetary donation in exchange for casual dress. We are happy to share that our employee donations for the day totaled $555 and all six local food pantries above received $92.50.
