Micah Bartlett Joins Stillman Bank Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Stillman BancCorp, N.A. is pleased to announce Micah R. Bartlett has joined its Board of Directors, according to Martin C. Larson, Chairman of Stillman BancCorp N.A.
Before his recent retirement, Micah served in the financial industry for over 33 years holding numerous positions including Chairman, President, and CEO of a local bank in Springfield, Illinois.
Micah graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois Springfield, a master’s degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University and has also received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Micah has been deeply engaged in the financial industry and participated in various industry-based organizations. He most recently served as Past Chairman of the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA), Vice Chair of the IBA Illinois Bankers Business Services Board of Directors, and member of their Fintech Committee. Micah is also a past member of the Community Bankers Council Administrative Committee and Government Relations Council of the American Bankers Association, an inaugural member of the Community Depository Institution Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and served a three-year term as the Graduate School of Banking Banker Advisory Board.
Outside of the financial industry, Micah served as a board member for the United Way of Central Illinois, United Way Campaign Chairman, and on the Campaign Planning Committee of the University of Illinois Springfield. He also served and chaired numerous local boards and committees, including education, economic development, chamber of commerce, and other community organizations.
