Eric B. Haugdahl Promoted to Stillman Bank Portfolio Manager and Earns Financial Certification

Stillman Bank has recently promoted a key member of its successful team in northern Illinois. Eric B. Haugdahl, CFP®, has been promoted to the position of Portfolio Manager, according to Thomas R. Hughes, President and CEO.

A lifelong resident of Rockford, Eric has 5 years of banking experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Northern Illinois University. In his new position, Eric will manage investment portfolios for clients within our Trust and Wealth Management Department. He will be located primarily in the bank’s Rockford office, 8492 East State Street, but will assist clients at all six Stillman Bank locations.

Eric also recently earned his Certified Financial Planner certification (CFP®) from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. The CFP® mark identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct, and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
