Stillman Bank Promotes Thomas R. Hughes to President and Chief Executive Officer
On behalf of the Stillman BancCorp N.A. Board of Directors, Chairman Martin C. Larson is pleased to announce that Thomas R. Hughes has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. In his new position, Tom will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of the bank.
Tom earned his degree in Agribusiness from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and his MBA from Lewis University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. Tom joined the bank in 1995 and has over 35 years of banking experience.
Tom has always been very active in the local communities. He has served as a board member for the Ogle County Habitat for Humanity, Stillman Valley Economic Development Committee, Ogle County Fair Association, and the Oregon Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and was a member of the capital campaign committee for Rock River Center, Inc.

Tom currently resides in Stillman Valley with his wife Kathleen. They have three daughters and two granddaughters.
